Airway Confirmation Errors

Hello all,

The chart has been finalized.

After trouble shooting for the past hour due to waiting for the system to “think” and also going through the charts procedures I was able to find the issue since the system does not directly tell us where the issue is. I had to trouble shoot several things by inputting or take things out.   The system wanted the “Airway Confirmation” to be placed under the “Procedure: Orotracheal intubation” and also “Procedure: Bag valve mask ventilation”. 

There was also an issue with the system looking at the times and the procedure happening PTA of crew and when the MF crew actually checked “Airway Confirmation”.  For the procedure it had to be listed “Not recorded” because it was PTA of MF crew.  With-in the “Airway confirmation” the time had to be listed “after the arrival to pt” due to it needing to be checked and was checked by MF crew after arriving at pt bedside.

I wanted to pass this detailed info along in case other crew members have similar issues with airway confirmation and closing of charts.
