ALS Intercepts

Intercepts are tricky.. NYS interprets intercepts as cancelled calls, so you have to “trick” the time fields

Basically, you are documenting as a "no transport", but transporting.. this is achieved by:

1. leaving transport times blank, so NYS schematron interprets the "no transport"
2. USING the "Intercept Transport", and "Intercept Arrive at Dest" fields to record times (these fields do NOT report through schematron, so they pass)
3. using true Back in service time, and duplicating for Cancelled time so the "end" of the call is accurate, and treatment/procedures can be documented.
   1. NOTE - you MAY have to modify or delete "Transfer of EMS Pt Care" time field to allow Tx/Procedures during transport.
4. Make sure to describe in the narrative WHO transported
   1. ie: Transported ALS on Attica BLS ambulance
